  • In order to investigate original contributions and possibilities of Japanese school counselors, international co-research and practical exchanges were conducted over period of time with foreign researchers such as Dr. Carol Dahir at the American School Counseling Association and Dr. Sang Min Lee at Korea University. In 2013, a survey for school counselors was conducted with Dr. Sang Min Lee.
    In addition, school counseling tools such as bully prevention and classroom climate assessment were constructed.

  • In our laboratory, students try to do action research, focusing on their own topics related to school counseling. The key words of students' research are as follows; prevention, mental health, children, youth, school, school counseling, preventive psycho-education, classroom climate, and resilience. Their research methods are based on community psychology, clinical psychology, school psychology, and educational psychology.
