Research Pursuits 【 display / non-display

  • My research themes are concerned with numerical simulations of various fluid flow and their applications to environment science. I am also interested in developing numerical method for Navier-Stokes equation. In 2013, following researches are done; numerical simulation of the flow around S-shaped vertical axis wind turbine, a numerical simulation in region with very large aspect ratio using some sub domain grid, a new numerical method for some region of very large aspect ratio with free surface like river, numerical simulation of the transitional flow in the smooth pipe, numerical simulation of the flow in the large aspect ratio pipe with the feature of blood vessel wall, numerical simulation of strange shaped rock by a model of wind erosion, numerical simulation of the interaction between the wave generated by a boat and a wall, fluid mixing by rotating objects, numerical simulation of bioconvection of pattern formation using various models.

  • In graduate education, I had one class in master program named "Practice of special lecture of computational fluid dynamics". I supervised and taught 2 students in doctoral program and 6 students in master program as well as 5 students including department of physics in under graduate course.
