Research Pursuits 【 display / non-display 】

  • My current research is primarily concerned with the disciplines of discourse analysis. I am concerned to explain the characteristics of the Japanese written and spoken discourses.

Educational Pursuits 【 display / non-display 】

  • In the graduate program, I teach the methodology of discourse analysis and conversation analysis. Based on the alternative methods, students were asked to describe their interactions with their friends and neighbors and to investigate how people negotiate and reach an agreement.
