  • Quantum many-body systems have been investigated as subjects of basic research. In addition, the application to combinatorial optimization is investigated these days. Basic studies on combinatorial optimization can be applied to familiar problems of everyday life. We study quantum dynamics and its application to combinatorial optimization.
    Pattern formation phenomena in quantum and classical systems are also an interesting topic. We study pattern formation in soft-matter systems and macroscopic quantum systems.
