Research Pursuits 【 display / non-display 】

  • An integral representation of a quantum relative entropy by a quantum Fisher information was investigated. Using the equilibrium measure of the diffusion processes as the reference measure, we derived differential relations among the relative entropy, the relative Fisher information, and the Wasserstein distance. Especially, in the case of the free probability, we have given another proofs of the logarithmic Sobolev and the transportation cost inequalities by time integrations.
    Moreover, we have studied on the method of a noise reduction from the correlation matrices of large scale data as random matrices, and also developed the method of the estimation for the power of noise contained in 2-dimensional MA modeled time series.

Educational Pursuits 【 display / non-display 】

  • At the seminars for the graduate program, I have supervised three graduate students in the study on quantum stochastic processes and their applications. The results of their studies have been presented at the workshop and conferences, which gave some impact among the related researchers.
    The lectures for the undergraduate classes, I have tried to keep the communication with the students and taken care of their achievements well. Moreover, I have tried to make my lectures be clearer by giving some tutorial examples on computers.
